Purpose of the Legal Assistance Commission

The purpose of the Legal Assistance Commission is stipulated in Article 508/3 of the Judicial Code.

The Commission's tasks include organizing first-line assistance sitting days, promoting consultation among legal assistance organizations, ensuring the dissemination of information on the existence and conditions of access to legal assistance.

Today, the Legal Assistance Commission organizes:

- daily sitting days for lawyers at the House of Justice

- daily sitting days for lawyers at the courthouse

- immigration detention

- helpline

- sitting days for lawyers at the justice of the peace courts

- sitting days for lawyers at the C.C.M.W.'s.
